The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 The Companions of the Right 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And clustered plantains, 29 and continuous shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
