Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
