Believers, fear God as is His due, and when death comes, be in a state of complete submission to Him. 102 Hold fast to the cord of God and let nothing divide you. Remember the blessings He has bestowed upon you; you were enemies and then He united your hearts and by His grace you became brothers; you were on the brink of an abyss of Fire and He rescued you from it. Thus God makes His signs clear to you, so that you may find guidance. 103 And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful. 104 Do not follow the example of those who became divided and differed with one another after clear proofs had come to them. For those, there is a great punishment. 105 On the day when some faces will become white and others black, God will ask the people with the faces which have become black, "Why did you give up your faith? Now suffer the torment for your disbelief". 106 But as for those whose faces are whitened, they shall be in God's mercy, therein dwelling forever. 107 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth, and Allah does not desire any injustice to the creatures. 108 To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to Allah are all matters referred for decision. 109
