Al-Layl
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 And [by] the day when it appears 2 And by Him Who created male and female; 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 and affirmed the Truth of goodness: 6 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and he belied the finest 9 We shall surely ease him to the Hardship; 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Indeed, Guidance is Ours, 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 I have warned you then about a raging Fire: 14 in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, 15 Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs. 16 For, distant from it shall remain he who is truly conscious of God: 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 not as payment for favours received, 19 Except as seeking (to fulfil) the purpose of his Lord Most High. 20 He surely will be pleased (when he will enter Paradise). 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
