Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 a Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified, 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 Those to whom the Book was given did not divide themselves until the Clear Proof came to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God with all-exclusive faith in Him, to be upright, and to fulfil their devotional obligations, and to give zakat; for this is the even way. 5 Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. 6 But those who believe and do the right are surely the best of created beings, 7 Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord. 8
