Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
