Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
