Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 and the burden-bearers 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the beautiful heavens, 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
