The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
