The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
