And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
