The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and a few from later times. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and spreading shade 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 and raised couches 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
