Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 For the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
