۞ And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allah. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite. 71 But if you turn back, I did not ask for any reward from you; my reward is only with Allah, and I am commanded that I should be of those who submit. 72 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and made them viceroys (in the earth), while We drowned those who denied Our revelations. See then the nature of the consequence for those who had been warned. 73 After him We sent Messengers to their nation. They brought them clear signs, but they were not of those to believe because they had belied it previously. So We seal the hearts of the evildoers. 74 Then We sent forth Moses and Aaron with Our signs to Pharaoh and his nobles, but they behaved arrogantly, for they were wicked people. 75 And when truth came to them from Us, they said: 'Indeed this is plain sorcery. 76 Moses said: 'Is this what you say of the truth when it has come to you? Is this sorcery? Sorcerers do not prosper' 77 They said: 'Have you come to turn us away from that which we found our fathers practicing (in order that) the domination of the land might belong to you two? We do not believe you' 78 And Pharaoh said (to his) men: 'Bring every skilled sorcerer to me.' 79 And when the sorcerers came Moses said to them: 'Cast whatever you wish to cast.' 80 Then, when they had cast, Moses said, 'What you have brought is sorcery; God will assuredly bring it to naught. God sets not right the work of those who do corruption. 81 Allah verifies the truth by His Words, even though the sinners hate it. 82
