And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
