This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred. 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They come to every sinful liar. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
