And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
