Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 to burn therein. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
