The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say to them (O Muhammad SAW) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the criminals (those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)." 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
