Nuh said: my Lord! verily they have disobeyed me and followed them whose riches and children have only increased them in loss. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. 23 And they have led many astray. (Noah supplicated saying): 'Allah, do not increase the harmdoers except in error' 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 if You leave any, they will misguide Your servants, and they will beget none but sinners and deniers of truth -- 27 “O my Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and the believers who are in my house, and all other Muslim men and Muslim women; and do not increase anything for the unjust except ruin.” 28
