In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the entire universe. 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The way of those whom You have favoured, who did not incur Your wrath, who are not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
