VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
