۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say: 'I ask no wage of you; that shall be yours. My wage is only upon Allah and He is Witness over everything' 47 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen." 48 Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]." 49 Say: "Were I to go astray, I would but go astray [due to my own self, and] to the hurt of myself; but if I am on the right path, it is but by virtue of what my Sustainer reveals unto me: for, verily, He is all-hearing, ever-near!" 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 And they shall say: We believe in it. And how shall the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place? 52 When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off. 53 And so, a barrier will be set between them and all that they had [ever] desired, as will be done to such of their kind as lived before their time: for, behold, they [too] were lost in doubt amounting to suspicion. 54
