In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
