We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
