But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
