The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has there come on man a while of time when he was a thing unremembered? 1 Indeed We have created man from mixed semen; in order to test him – We therefore made him hearing, knowing. 2 Verily We! We shewed him the way; then he becometh either thankful or ingrate. 3 Indeed, for the unbelievers We have prepared chains, fetters and a Blazing (Fire). 4 Lo! the righteous shall drink of a cup whereof the mixture is of Kafur, 5 a fountain whereat drink the servants of God, making it to gush forth plenteously. 6 They fulfil their vows, and fear a day whose evil is upon the wing; 7 they give food, for the love of Him, to the needy, the orphan, the captive: 8 (Saying): "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. 9 behold, we stand in awe of our Sustainer's judgment on a distressful, fateful Day!" 10 God will certainly rescue them from the terror of that day and will meet them with joy and pleasure. 11 and will reward them for all their patience in adversity with a garden [of bliss] and with [garments of] silk. 12 In that [garden] they will on couches recline, and will know therein neither [burning] sun nor cold severe, 13 And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility. 14 and there shall be passed around them vessels of silver, and goblets of crystal, 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes). 16 They will drink cups containing (soft flowing) sparkling water 17 A spring there, called Salsabil. 18 ۞ Immortal youths shall go about them; when thou seest them, thou supposest them scattered pearls, 19 When you see them, you see bliss, and a great Kingdom. 20 In it they adorn clothes of fine green silk and gold embroidery; and they are given silver bracelets to wear; and their Lord gave them pure wine to drink. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
