The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
