Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
