But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
