Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
