Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

Almighty Allah's Truth.
