Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
