(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
