۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
