And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
