▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
