The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
