Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Seen. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
