We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
