Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 to burn therein. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
