And when Moses said to his page, 'I will not give up until I reach the meeting of the two seas, though I go on for many years. 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast – we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 There they met one of Our servants who had received blessings and knowledge from Us. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
