Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise,] and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace, 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
