Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
