(Consider) when Moses said to his young companion, "I shall continue travelling until I reach the junction of the two seas or have travelled for many years". 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 Moses said, "That is just what we were looking for." So they went back the way they had come, 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
