And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 (We delivered them) from Pharaoh. Lo! he was a tyrant of the wanton ones. 31 And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly, 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Even then they say: 34 'There is nothing but our first death; we shall not be revived. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
