Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
