Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 relieved you of the burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And exalted your fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
