Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
