It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 When the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left. 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
